Bollywood actors Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta go for a spin on Harley-Davidson bikes [Video]


Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta are promoting their upcoming movie and took a ride on two Harley-Davidson motorcycles through the streets of Mumbai. The veteran actors sat pillion on the Harley-Davidson motorcycles and rode through the busy streets of Mumbai with an entourage of other Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Both the actors got their own half face helmets. Actress Neena Gupta was even heard saying that why they require a helmet when they are only going to sit on the pillion seats. Well, helmets are a must for everyone who is sitting on a two-wheeler. It is a safety equipment that can save lives.

Since the poster of their upcoming movie “Shiv Shastri BALBOA” shows Anupam Kher riding the bike and Neena Gupta sitting on the pillion, the marketing team of the movie thought that it would be a good idea to involve Harley-Davidsons in real life to do the promotions.

Neena Gupta sat on the Harley Davidson 1200X Forty Eight while Anupam Kher took the pillion seat of the Softail Classic. Both of them took a ride for about 10 mins amidst the entourage of media, who were constantly taking pictures and making videos of the veteran actors.

The Harley Davidson Forty-Eight is powered by a massive 1,202 cc V-Twin engine that generates a maximum of 97 Nm. Harley Davidson never reveals the maximum power figures of their bikes. The Softail Classic comes with a 1,745 cc V-Twin engine that generates a maximum of 144 Nm.

There are many Bollywood celebrities who own expensive motorcycles. Many of them also own a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. It sure is a popular bike but sadly Harley-Davidson left India due to dwindling sales.

Harley-Davidson to come back with Hero MotoCorp

The American motorcycle giant announced that it has joined hands with Hero MotoCorp. Under the new Rewire strategy, Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson will also work to launch new products in the markets.

Reportedly, Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson showcased two upcoming bikes developed by them. The Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson showcased the bikes to select dealers in India. According to the report, the bike was presented at a private event and was a cruiser, which looks like Harley-Davidson 338R. However, the bikes showcased by the brand were without any branding at the time.

The JV also showcased a street bike at an event. The report also claims that it features a more aggressive and single-cylinder engine. Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson announced their partnership following the exit of the American brand’s exit from the Indian market.

The first bike developed in collaboration with the American brand is expected to debut by March 2024. It is likely to be positioned in the middleweight segment and could compete with Royal Enfield.
