2023 Maruti Suzuki Fronx spotted in white colour before launch

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx was showcased at the Auto Expo 2023 for the first time, and since then, several visuals of the compact SUV are doing rounds on the internet. However, in most of the visuals, we can see the Fronx majorly in either the Nexa Blue or Opulent Red paint shades. Now, a video of Fronx in Pearl Arctic White has surfaced on the internet, which shows how the compact SUV looks in the shade of white.

A YouTube video from Harsh Vlogs shows a Maruti Suzuki Fronx being driven on the roads of New Delhi ahead of its launch. It is expected that this particular unit of the Fronx was doing the final rounds of testing ahead of its launch slated in the coming weeks. The Fronx seen in the video is painted in Pearl Arctic White shade, which is one of the most popular colour options among car buyers.

Maruti Suzuki offers Pearl Arctic White in all the offerings available in its NEXA chain of outlets. In the video, we can see that the white colour suits the coupe-like design of the Fronx, despite it being a very common-looking colour. The variant seen in the video is the top-spec Alpha variant, as it gets cameras integrated into the rearview mirrors. Maruti Suzuki will offer a 360-degree parking camera only in the top-spec Alpha variant of the Fronx.

Apart from the Pearl Arctic White paint shade, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx will also be offered with other colour options like Nexa Celestial Blue, Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey, Earthen Brown and Opulent Red. In addition to these, there are three dual-tone colour options which will be available for the Fronx, including Earthen Brown with Bluish Black roof, Splendid Silver with Bluish Black roof and Opulent Red with a Black roof.

Will be powered by 2 petrol engines

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx will be available with two petrol-powered engines. The lower-spec variants will be offered with a 1.2-litre K12C naturally-aspirated petrol engine from the Baleno, which claims 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. This engine will be offered with both 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options in the Fronx.

However, the mid and top-spec variants of the Fronx will get a 1.0-litre turbocharged Boosterjet petrol engine, which claims 100 PS of power and 147.6 Nm of torque. This powertrain option will be available with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission option in the Fronx. The new Maruti Suzuki Fronx will compete with compact SUVs like Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300 and Maruti Suzuki’s own Brezza.
