India’s Richest Family’s Newest Cars and SUVs: Rolls Royce Ghost to Ferrari 488 Pista!


The Ambani family is currently the richest family in India, known across the globe for their opulence, wealth, and lavish lifestyle. One of the biggest highlights of their lifestyle is the cars that the entire family uses. They roll around the city of Mumbai with over 50 security cars and own some of the most expensive and limited cars in the country. The family buys new cars more frequently than most people buy clothes, and their collection just keeps on growing. In this list, we will round up the latest cars from the Ambani garage that they have acquired in the last year alone.

Bentley Continental GTC Speed Convertible

First on this list is Mukesh Ambani’s recent gift to his younger son Anant Ambani and his wife Radhika Merchant – the Bentley Continental GTC Speed convertible. This Bentley convertible was covered in flowers and gifted to Anant during his engagement ceremony. Recently, it was spotted on the streets of Mumbai for the first time. The car is finished in a lovely shade of flaming orange and features the VIP number 1 on its plate.

The Bentley Continental GTC Speed is powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine that delivers 659 PS of power and 900 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that allows for lightning-fast gear changes and exceptional performance. The GTC Speed can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 335 kmph.

Rolls Royce Ghost Second Generation

Next up on the list is the family’s most recent Rolls-Royce, the second generation of the Ghost, finished in a beautiful shade of Gold. This super luxurious sedan also boasts the same VIP number 1 on its plate. The most recent encounter of this car was at a Hindustan Petroleum pump where the car was seen getting fuel. A number of people posted hilarious comments on the post that shared this car.

Jokes apart, the second generation Rolls-Royce Ghost is one of the newest and most modern Rolls Royce cars and features a host of improvements and updates over its predecessor. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V12 engine that produces 563 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, which is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The car can go from 0 to 100 mph in just 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kmph.

Bentley Bentayga (4th)

The family has a special love affair with Bentley’s SUV, the Bentayga. They recently took delivery of their fourth Bentley Bentayga, finished in a sporty shade of red. Reportedly, the family shelled out around Rs 4.5 crore for this latest SUV. The first one that they bought was finished in a shade of British Racing Green and featured the Breitling Mulliner Tourbillon watch, which itself cost more than Rs 1 crore.

Soon after taking the delivery of the British Racing Green Bentayga, the family took delivery of another one. According to reports, three of the four Bentaygas are powered by the same 4.0-litre V8 engine that generates a maximum power of 542 Bhp and a peak torque of 770 Nm. Only one of them is powered by a W12 engine.

Range Rover

The Ambani family probably has the biggest Range Rover collection in the entire country, as their security personnel drive a fleet of around 7-8 Range Rover Vogues from the previous generation. The family recently also acquired two of the newest generation of Range Rovers, finished in a classy shade of white.

From the pictures it was noted that the two cars delivered were the 3.0 LWB SE variants which are powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine. This 3.0-litre diesel engine produces 350 PS of maximum power and 700 Nm of maximum torque outputs. The SUVs come mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission and channels the power to all four wheels via a four-wheel drive system. Apart from this 3.0-litre diesel, the new Range Rover is also offered with 3.0-litre petrol and 4.4-litre petrol engine options in its expansive lineup.

Ferrari 488 Pista

Last but not the least the Ambani family also took delivery of the super rare Ferrari 488 Pista worth Rs 5.3 crore. For those unaware, the Ferrari 488 Pista, is the lighter, more agile, and more expensive variant of the Ferrari twin-turbo V8 supercar 488 GTB, which the Ambanis also own finished in the shade of Rosso Corsa Red. The 488 Pista comes powered by a 3.9-litre V8 engine with twin-turbochargers. The engine produces a maximum power of 720 Bhp and a peak torque of 770 Nm. It can make the car propel from 0-100 km/h in just 2.85 seconds!

The 488 Pista owned by the Ambani’s is apparently the highest specced Ferrari 488 Pista in the country. It is finished in Bianco Avus pearl white paint and it features a full track telemetry kit and the factory-fitted roll-cage as well which is one of the rarest options in the Ferrari’s in India and worldwide.
